The terms for using Books Translation.

Plain-language terms for the service: what you may upload, how pricing and delivery work, and where responsibility sits.

The service

Books Translation translates a book you upload and returns a translated edition with the original layout preserved. You upload a PDF; the page count is detected in your browser; the price is calculated from that count before you commit.

What you may upload

You must hold the rights to the book you upload, or have the rights holder's permission to translate it. Do not upload content you do not have the right to reproduce or translate. You are responsible for the material you send us and for how you publish the result.

Pricing and payment

Translation is priced per page, in the currency shown at the time of your quote. The total is derived from the page count detected from your file. Taxes and optional language services are not included, and physical copies are quoted separately per book. A quote is honoured at the rate shown when you commit.

Delivery

Books up to 200 pages are typically delivered in 24–48 hours, and longer books in 3–5 days. These are working estimates, not a contractual deadline, and unusual languages or heavily illustrated books can take longer.

AI-assisted translation, disclosed

Our translations are produced with AI assistance and, on the Editorial plan, refined by native-language literary reviewers. If you publish a translated edition on a platform that asks you to disclose AI-generated content — Amazon KDP does — answer those questions accurately for the way your book was produced.

Your rights, and ours

You keep all rights in your original manuscript and in the translated edition delivered to you. We claim no ownership over either. You are free to publish, print, and sell the translated edition subject to the rights you hold in the underlying work.

Limits of liability

We aim for publication-grade output, but we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost royalties, or lost profits arising from use of the service. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the translation in question.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service develops. The date at the top of this page reflects the current version, and material changes will be reflected here before they take effect. Questions? Write to asif.bookstranslation@gmail.com.
